This is a summary article of the cafe on the beach of Chichibugahama, Salar de Uyuni, Kagawa Prefecture. It is popular as a photo spot, but there are more shops than in the past, so please refer to this article when you stop by Chichibugahama. Recently, there have been an increase in the number of hotels in the area, making it an increasingly popular spot.
*You often see Chichibu-ga-hama written as “Chichibu-ga-hama”, but the correct name is “Chichibu-ga-hama”!

①. tranquilo tacos
A taco specialty store that opened in Chichibuhama in August 2023.
Both the exterior and interior of this restaurant are typical of a taco specialty store, giving it a Mexican atmosphere.
Inside the shop, there are counter seats and table seats, about 20 seats in total.
(When I visited this time, the table seats were full of general customers, so I couldn’t take a photo.)
TakeoutIt seems that you can also eat it, so you can move to the beach and eat by the sea.
The “taco set” of 2 types of tacos + potato + chips seems to be popular. There are about 15 types of tacos. You can enjoy your favorite combination.

②．suns the san
Opened in July 2022
A cafe where you can enjoy authentic galettes made by a French chef and stylish drinks.
Colorful drinks that look great in photos in a stylish atmosphere.
This is the perfect restaurant for a beach date. It’s built in a slightly higher position, so you can relax while looking out over the beach!
The kitchen is open so you can see the food being prepared up close. Be sure to check it out when you come to Chichibugahama!

③.DOUGHNUT HOLIC
This is a donut shop that opened in September 2021. You can eat cute and delicious donuts.
Many of the donuts are colorful and are sure to look great on social media.
As you can see in the photo, there is often a line, and depending on the time of day, there may be fewer varieties left, so please be careful.

④.BAKE STUDIO OKAZAKI
A hamburger and sandwich shop using local ingredients.
The restaurant has large windows overlooking Chichibugahama Beach, so you can enjoy the view while eating. There is also terrace seating on the second floor, where you can enjoy your meal while feeling the sea breeze.
The popular burger is “Avocado Mozzarella”.
If you want to eat while feeling the sea, please try this place.

⑤． SoichiroCoffee
A shop located on Chichibugahama shore where you can drink carefully selected blended coffee.
As the name suggests, it is a coffee shop, but they also sell drinks such as tea and lemonade. It’s an environmentally friendly shop, and if you want to drink coffee on the spot, they will pour your coffee into the mug shown in the photo to avoid trash.
For takeout, there is an additional 30 yen for the cup, but the extra 10 yen is used to improve the environment at Chichibugahama Beach.

⑥.sunset cafe NAMI
This is a takeout shop located near the sea. The design of the store is cute.
The menu seems to have a variety of things from drinks to snacks. This time I visited in January, so even zenzai was on the menu! amazing.
We recommend the mandarin orange smoothie, and we use locally sourced mandarin oranges.
There is also an eat-in space next to the shop, so if you are tired of exploring the beach, you can take a break.

⑦.Candy Stand_Atai/Atai’s chicken shop with bones
A shop next to “sunset cafe NAMI”.
“Candy Stand Atai” → A specialty store that sells “fruit candy” using seasonal fruits. There also seem to be seasonal fruits.
Since our staff are university students, we are only open on Saturdays and Sundays except during long-term periods. They sell candy that is colorful and looks great in photos.
“Atai’s bone-in chicken shop” → We sell Sanuki’s specialty, “bone-in chicken.” You can choose the parents and chicks, and they also sell beer, so it’s perfect for people who want to have a drink by the seaside. If you pre-order by phone in advance, you can receive it smoothly.

⑨. Chichibugahama Port
A general guide shop in Chichibugahama. We offer food and drinks made with local ingredients. There is also terrace seating outside the shop, where you can relax while looking out at the seaside view. There are showers (for a fee) and foot washing areas, and you can also rent beach items, and you can also rent out the lawn area for events. It’s like anything is possible. The atmosphere inside the store is stylish, making it easy for families and couples to visit.

⑩.KAKIGORI CAFE Himuro
A cafe where you can enjoy shaved ice all year round. Homemade syrups are made using local fruits and ingredients.
It’s a stylish shop where you can relax while looking out at the seaside.
The photo above was taken during my visit in winter, but many of the menu items have a red sticker on the top left that says “Seasonally Limited”, and the menus seem to be created using ingredients that are in season at that time, so it’s sure to be new no matter when you go! If you want to eat shaved ice, please try it.

⑪.Seasonal stand
The shop next to the shaved ice shop “Himuro”Seasonal stand”.
This shop sells dried flowers, seasonal fruit sandwiches, drinks, etc. (takeout available at the cafe).
Inside the store, there are dried hydrangea flowers and accessories that are famous for the local Shiundeyama, and just entering the store will give you an extraordinary feeling. It seems to have been produced by the wedding hall “Chenon” next door, and it offers a stylish look that you can be sure of.

⑪.Kitchen-Harbor KenKen
Opened in 2023, this egg specialty restaurant was started by a couple who run an izakaya in Marugame City in collaboration with a poultry farm in Mitoyo City.
You can eat dishes made with fresh local eggs. The menu is all about birds, such as egg-cooked rice, omelet rolls, and fried chicken set meals.

⑬.Daily Yamazaki
Needless to say, a major convenience store. There is also a space where you can find souvenirs from Kagawa Prefecture and Shikoku.
Speaking of daily, freshly baked bread! (This is my opinion) is also included as usual. There are also ATMs, so just having one is a big help.

⑭.Hyakutai Bookstore
Although the name is “bookstore,” what they sell are not books, but products from local companies and products made by local farmers. We also sell miscellaneous goods and food.
What’s interesting is that there are books next to each product, and at first they write about the history of the company that manufactured the product and their thoughts on the product. Along the way, messages from customers sent to the “suggestion box” inside the store are pasted onto the pages of the book.
When you look around the store, be sure to pick up a book.
